And so it’s Christmas again...
The winter solstice, the shortest day (and the longest night) of the year in the Northern hemisphere, has long been celebrated in many different cultures as the turning point from which days grow longer again. A symbol for hope, a celebration of love and friendship, joined by the universal language of music. Reading about these feasts, I’ve found out that songs have always played a pivotal part in them, providing a relaxed atmosphere. Such a relief to see my urge for Xmas music around these dates completely justified. Here’s a little selection of some favorites of mine, wishing you a very merry Xmas and a great 2018!
